YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Patrick N. Sadek P.E.: Currently employed with Epsilon Engineering Services. He moved to Myrtle Beach and served as the City Engineer since 2008; began his early professional career as a  site Engineer working for a land developer; joined the NCDOT for several years; continued his career with a commercial roofing design firm; worked for Law Engineering as a Materials Engineer; joined the City of Charlotte from 1993 to 2008 and served its DOT department as a Senior Planner, its Engineering Department as a Transportation Engineer, and its Transit Department as a Senior Light Rail Transit Engineer for its South Corridor Light Rail Transit Project.

The engineering Department and its role within the organization. Procurement of professional services

(Engineering, Surveying, and QA/QC); In-house Services (design, construction management, contract administration) and its pros & cons. Outsourcing services; CIP Programs; Regulatory agencies & permitting (e.g. DHEH, SCDOT, The Corp, etc…), Non-Engineered projects; Public/private venture; others.

Attendees will be given a certificate and awarded 4 PDH units.

**Full refund will be made if notification is received by November 22nd.  Substitutions are allowed if given prior written notice. Citadel engineering students free of charge. No lunch if registering on site.  A temporary parking pass is required for this event and will be emailed to registrants with their confirmation.

From Interstate 26 Eastbound, take Rutledge Ave. exit (219-A) for 1.2 miles.  Turn right on Moultrie Street and follow Moultrie until it ends at Lesesne Gate.  Grimsley Hall is third building on the right after turning onto Jenkins Ave. to the rear of Summerall Field of The Citadel.   For directions, ask the Cadet at the Main Gate for building location and parking instructions.  Join SCSPLS after the seminar for a Board and General Membership Meeting at Grimsley Hall and SCSPLS social afterwards sponsored by the Coastal Chapter of SCSPLS.
